鈣質的吸收還需要活性vit D3的幫助。一天只要四肢接觸10分鐘中午的陽光,就足以將皮膚中的膽固醇轉化成pre vit D,再帶到肝臟轉化成活性vit D3,便可幫助腸道鈣質的吸收,送到腎臟更可轉換成最高活性的D3,促進尿中鈣質的再吸收,最後亦可幫助骨頭吸收血鈣[2]。反之,日照不足、肝腎功能差,都會降低體內活性D3的量。
